These are a few of my favorite things...to buy.

I am a girl who loves to shop. I love clothes, jewelry, make up, all that stuff. Here are a few of my favorites.

Truly Madly Deeply Scoop Neck Tee: The best t-shirt in the world. Super soft, super flattering, and not to mention it comes in amazing colors. It's kind of expensive for a t-shirt (well for a broke student it is) but it is well worth it. 

 

Gap Jeans: Comfy, quality, and they last a life time. I love my Gap jeans so much, they are worn in and super comfy. 

Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain: When it comes to make up I have learned (the hard way) that less is more. So when it comes to lip color I always turn to stains because they are far more subtle and long wearing than any lipstick or gloss. My favorite colors are: Twilight (deep nude), Forbidden(nude), Flame(red) and Gothic(really red) 

RipCurl Aurora Watch: Best watch. Super water proof (its made for surfers) cute and goes with anything. 

Cecilia Gonzales Jewelry: When it comes to unique hand made beautiful jewelry I love Cecilia Gonzales. I first heard of her through a friend and I have been satisfied ever since. 

  

A Little Late...

This post has been a long time coming. Sorry for my immense tardiness but better late than never right? This one is about guilty pleasures. You know, those things you love but hate to admit you do, well these are mine.
Magazines: Every magazine. Elle, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar


















Nail Polish: I have a very sick obsession with nail polish. My toe nails haven't been bare since fifth grade. My favorite nail polish is Essie in colors like Mesmerize, Lady Godiva, A-List, and Au Natural

Music Videos: I can waist half a day watching an umpteenth amount of music videos. My current favorite is 'Ring Ring' by Sleigh Bells.

Blogs: Another thing that totally waists my day away. Some Favorites are Into the Gloss, ClosetVisit, The Sartorialist, Stereogum and WhoWhatWear

The Day After

I don't believe there is a worse day than the day after Christmas. The excitement leading up to the big day and then it finishes and the next morning everything goes back to normal. Depressing as it may be this year I decided to change things up. Have a day of fun instead of returning things at the mall or gorging myself on leftovers. Here are the five things that made my day today.

Black Swan: Natalie Portman was exquisite, amazing, beautiful...I could go on for days. Really good kind of weird but really worth it.

Janelle Monae: Just bought her album and am a little obsessed. She is R&B heavy on the B

Watching Florence + the MAchine videos: her voice is strength and fire and pure beauty.

Reading Nylon: favorite magazine!!!

Last but not least: Christmas cookies.
