I don't believe there is a worse day than the day after Christmas. The excitement leading up to the big day and then it finishes and the next morning everything goes back to normal. Depressing as it may be this year I decided to change things up. Have a day of fun instead of returning things at the mall or gorging myself on leftovers. Here are the five things that made my day today.
Black Swan: Natalie Portman was exquisite, amazing, beautiful...I could go on for days. Really good kind of weird but really worth it.
Janelle Monae: Just bought her album and am a little obsessed. She is R&B heavy on the B
Watching Florence + the MAchine videos: her voice is strength and fire and pure beauty.
